With Mike's post about the new Hi-Res Topo Maps, I went around and started checking out a ton of topos. The Hi-Res Topos are great btw. When you look at the OG Topo Maps under the Lake Tab it brings up all the black and white topos. As you look through them you have to click from page to page by numbers. It appears to me that the lakes are all in alphabetical order, is it possible to have the lake maps under an alphabetical organization instead of the numbers. Sure would make it easier to find Tapps without having to guess which page number the T's might be on. It's on pg. 31 if you were wondering.
Kind of like the Lake index is what I was thinking.

On the Topo Map Index page, click "Search Maps" (upper right corner link). type the name of the lake in the search filed and it pops up. Maybe "Search Maps" needs to be bigger, or maybe call it "Search by Name" to make it more clear. I'll cc this to Aaron.
Second option is to go to the Lake Index page (found under the "Lakes" tab), select your lake. If it has a map there will be a symbol under the "Map" collumn. Click on the symbol and there's your map. The Lake Index page has links to all the various things you would want to research on a lake.
Option three, Home tab - "Search", type name of lake and click the Topo Map bullet. (this is just another way to get to the site's search function, which is a good way to research old articles, find reports, stories, etc.

I have to open another browser and open another page for WaLakes to follow those directions. I have to keep flipping back and forth as I read the directions, and try to click on that stuff in the other browser. Maybe I should just print out those directions.

Acually I just copied and sent myself an e-mail with those directions, WAY too complicated to even TRY to remember.

found the words 'search maps'. Maybe make it in black letters too so it can be seen/found easier instead of those orangy letters.

Ok, I got it now. your words 'Topo Map bullet' means the same as 'clickable button' or 'clickable word'. As in "put the curser over the words 'Topo Maps' and click on it". Then the circle in front of those words will be 'marked/selected' and that map name typed in will show up when the 'search' word is clicked on. I couldn't figure out what 'topo map BULLET' ment before.

Update -
Aaron moved the search link in the Topo Map section to the top LEFT and renamed it "Search Topo Maps" and underlined it. Note, when you click on this link the "bullet" (that's what I call those, I think they are also called radio button slection) is automatically selected for maps.
