Scrollable Fish Report Box?

Post by Fish On! » Wed Nov 05, 2008 3:15 pm

I know this is a little bit slow in coming. For the most part I like all the changes, all but the recent fishing report section on the main page. Would it be possible to expand this box so I can see reports out to say 30 days? Be nice to get a quick overall view on what's happening without wading through the subsections of the lake index or reports. I used to find new lakes all the time and now it's a bit cumbersome from the old format.

If that's too much change, then how about expanding the View all Reports page to 30 days and make it scrollable, so I don't have to jump between pages? WL.com is by far the best fishing site online for current info. so keep up the great work.

Never enough time. Aaron is working on our new update which we plan to show at the Puyallup Show AND have up and running as well (cross our fngers). This is a project he has been working on for over a year.

I can tell you that the report box will not be scroll-able but will have more reports on it - looks like 30. They will have all types of reports on the list - lake, river, salt, secret and will have different colored flags indicating what type they are.

Bottom line is when it gets busy (Spring/summer) we can see 20-30 reports a day, so the old days of looking back a couple days to skim reports is getting harder - but that's because there's so many reports which is a good thing! Maybe he can make a page that loads 100 reports to skim, I don't know.

I have never seen that before today! How long has it been there?

I think there is a LOT of stuff that people have no idea is there. It's hard to make everything plainly visable and even doing searchs it's hard to find things. Ten years+ of content will do that.
