WashingtonHikes.com, Sister site?

Post by MikeFishes » Fri Aug 10, 2007 11:11 am

I've been updating my Live maps collection with more lakes and found this site, WashingtonHikes.com, and thought that would be a cool integration between your two sites. Especially since lots of the highland lakes in WL.coms DB don't have much information on how to get to the lakes, but they do. For example, look at their information on Beaver Plant Lake (Ashland Lakes Trail), and then look at WL.coms. Now, imagine if you guys could get their directions and images. Very cool!

Okay, in looking at that site some more, there's not that many hikes to lakes. :-". Oh well. It was a good idea, but you don't want to attempt to integrate with too many other sites for this kind of information (unless the just let you have their data).

Try vtrails.com. They have quite a few high lakes listed.
