What's the "Was Thanked" in our profiles?

I've seen this since the update, but what is it about?

it's just one of those "fun" features that allows you to publicly thank someone w/o typing it out. Part of the updated forum software. It doesn't get you anything extra, it's just cudos.

Ok, sort of similar to the "like" button on Facebook I suppose.

I haven't figured it out as it looks like I thanked myself a time or 2, but haven't clicked on the button.

I just thanked you just for being you AMX! Be careful, thanking yourself is illegal in certain counties.

Ok, I just checked it again. It doesn't show who thanked you, it shows 'what' 'which reply/post' was thanked. I'll get it someday.

I see it as showing who thanked you, it's under the "PM and E-Mail" buttons in the post. It also says you were thanked under your forum profile. I just gave you a thank you on your post to see it.

Also, if you click your user name on the forum post it says "view profile" and there is a link to view all the thank yous the you've gotten. You're right it doesn't show there who thanked you, but it does have a link to the post that you got thanked on and that's how you could see who thanked you.

Ok, I see it now. At the bottom left of MY reply, is where the 'thankyou' info is that shows that YOU thanked me. Got it.

Back at you.

edit: it even shows me that I just thanked you. :bounce:
