Region Maps for lakes

Post by Lou » Tue Jun 26, 2007 1:03 am

Before the new website update, there was a list of areas that had maps showing the many lakes near by. Lately I've seen alot of posts in the forums asking what lakes are near by, and I think it would be easier to point them to those maps, but I cannot find them on the new site. Did they get removed or am I just lost? If they have been removed, is there a chance of bringing them back for the directionally challenged?

Easy fix. Link to mapquest. I get close with map then switch to the aerial photo.

Lou,

Thanks for remembering that section. Aaron and I decided that because the next version will have afeature making it obsolete we wouldn't add it to this current version. Plus, the maps were in differnet formats and it was making it hard for Aaron to get them to look right on this site. If you need I can e-mail them to you, or the ones in your area. Just PM me about it.
