I wonder if it has to be a complete lure. Some of my best (and most effective) ideas have been "enhancements".
That could be my company motto: I don't make the lures; I make the lures better.

I am in the same boat with that. I suspect that the normal rule of 10% change to get a patent, but I am not sure.
