After this weeks Paper story about 1500 White Sturgeon beaching them selfs in Port of Susan at Livingston Bay. With some being 10 feet in length as the papaer said.. of course the pictures shows lots of 3-6 footers... I was thinking... how do I catch some of said "1500" sturgeon? How do you rig for them..rod types... bait..ect.. any one done this or have suggestions? can you shore fish for them on the high tide? seems pretty muddy so know wading for them would be dangerous.

In case you missed the story. http://www.scnews.com/

I couldn't copy the pics so here is a link to WFF that has 3 pics. This isn't fishing! I'm sure that enforcement would take a very dim view of anyone harassing these stranded fish.
