The bocaccio aren't "gone" on the WA Coast. There was one time I couldn't stop hooking these massive rockfish. It's sad to see them die and just float on top of the water...rock fish are tightly regulated as it is right now in all PS waterways and Canada is adopting stricker laws regarding all bottom fish as well.

I don't know what's up but I can't get that link to work for me...That's like 3 straight Kitsap Sun articles that just won't work for me...

Thanks for posting this Shawn. I was more excited to learn from the article that pacific smelt are being looked at. Their numbers have to be close to 1/50th of what they were even twenty years ago.
