ya there is no way there are pinks down there. Look at the state creel reports. I own beach property right infront of protections island on the peninsula, and i have been there the past 2 weekends and have not even seen a pink. even my neighbors say when the pinks come in we will slay them up there all day long, so i have a really hard time beleiving they are down there and i somehow missed the pinks when i have been practically fishing up there every weekend haha

You don't have to like pinks, but quit bashing them. Many folks enjoy fishing for them and eating them....

The Peninsula is really the strait. Google the names of the places the reports are from.
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

The new report says 7/15/2009 Hood Canal Public Rmp 2 pinks. That is the SOUTH (kinda). I am hoping to catch my first pink in salt this year.
1 at Armeni Ramp.

YES, I LIKE TO EAT THEM even from the river.

I thought it would be closer to Hood Canal when I first looked at it but when I googled the places I found they were all on the strait but on the Peninsula. Now I know where the low numbered areas are. I have only been to part of area 11.

They are in, but in very few numbers at the moment. Give it a month and they'll be in thick...

There are also some resident pinks that have been hanging around for a while now down in the South Sound...

Gotta love the pinks. the perfect salmon fish for family fun. I'm not embarrassed or think it's beneath me to catch a 4-6 pound salmon. Check out the pink video in the video section. If that doesn't look like fun I don't know what is.

I've watched the video twice this week...... The wait is KILLING ME!! I don't know Area 10 or 9 at all, so I guess I have to wait an extra week or two for the fish to get down south :shaking2: :fish:

The netting skills alone:colors: :cyclopsan should be a real working (tool)

Pinks are a fine starter fish for kids:-$

Like rods, scotters, fish, and babies:-" :-# one mans 3 is anothers sporting 1

Depending on your diet and abilities to Feed! LOL

Push the Wreck, (Hump the hallow) and you do not need a white dodger or pink squid for Kitty litter:-$ they will eat it all if your doing the correct speeds, and depths:cheers:

If you guys really eat these fish BLEED AND CLEAN them as soon as there killed and pack them on ice ASAP

Without doing that you will have great Flowers next Year which is a gift as well:thumleft: 8-[

Or push just off the run a tad deeper and fish green/plus herring strips and pick up your trolling speed and chrush a Coho with Mojo to 20lbs that will burn your reel, clear the water and make you earn him or her.

Choices :thumright :viking: a few will make them and Big W I am sure will!! LOL

Fish on!:sunny:

PS =I did not post 3x pics of pinks they did:-$

we're aiming to be on the water, Shishole marina jetting west by 4am Saturday morning.. is that early enough? Kid at Auburn Marine told me today that I should be on the water by 3:30 cause the bite sometimes dies as early as 4:30...?
