Where/What to fish for this weekend
My friend and his father want to go fishing this weekend and I'm not so sure where to go. I was looking at the creel reports and catches don't look so good. We would likely go out at the Everett ramp if we went to the salt. I guess we could always target some Sole or something like that. If we go salt, what should we target? What should we use?

Ground and pound Hat Island to Elger Bay Camano Island fish 10 feet from off the bottom 1.4 to 1.8mph trolling speed with the tide find bait on the bottom you will find blackies. 125 to 165 total depth
DB and PP another choice but myself I have punished this resource and a break needed.
Brine your herring cut then very thin light rock salt then liquid blue Herring smelly Jelly light on your strips.
Run a Glow white Squid with glow skirt and glow beads/Red gamas hooks off one set up.
The other a 3.5 coyote Red racer spoon
Flashers = purple haze the other

Coated 12lbers balls and scent them with blue paste Herring smelly Jelly
You will find fish and fish the correct tides and times!

RE:Where/What to fish for this weekend
Swedes got it...
I'd hit 8-1/2 or 9....Some fish to be had, it ain't hot fishing, but there are some fish out there...
Hootchies w/ herrings strip, Coyote Spoons, Coho Killer, Kingfisher, etc...Pound the bottom of the water column (within 25-30 feet of the bottom) and you should have a good chance at a blackmouth...
Good luck and let us know how ya do...

Thanks guys! Swede, you make it sound easy!
Senting the ball, good idea. We'll definately have a go at it! Just need to check the tides.
