I was wondering if anyone has tried this stuff? I googled it and haven't been able to find any reviews from people who've used it. My wife wants to try it as she hates getting dough bait all over her fingers.

I've never heard of this product but for what its worth,I see the North American Fishing Club has stamped it for approval.

I've used it while trolling. Honestly, I can't say it helped my hook up rate any. If you want something that really works well go with Smelly Jelly products. I'm not saying Fish Tickle couldn't help ya out, it's just they have never increased my catch rate for trolling trout, so I abandoned using them awhile ago.

That stuff is a firm pellet that releases scent when it is in the water. I assume since you are using dough bait, you are trout fishing using powerbait? This pellet wouldn't conform to a hook like a soft dough bait.
My suggestion for her is to try Power Eggs. I find them to be more productive then dough powerbait and they are very clean on the hands. All they leave is a little scent on your hands, but nothing compared to the stink left from pulling out dough out of the jar, rolling into shape and sticking it on the hook.

I agree with Sam Kafelafish. Plus the power eggs don't get mushy and fall off the hook all the time.
I quit useing the powerbait dough a couple years ago.

First off, WELCOME to WL.com mofamily! Glad to see your first post is a great question.
I use Smelly Jelly for just about everything bass, crappie, and salmon. As far as trout fishing, I will use Pro-Cure.
Try it out mofamily. And listen to Mike below. He has tried this product out before.
A good ole' fashion worm is still the best way to fish for trout. Powerbait is very effective too and if your lady doesn't like to get it on her hands tell here to do what I do, apply it with gloves. Latex gloves, powderless. I carry latex gloves with me and always apply scents using them. Mostly because I don't like to get it all over my gear and have my sandwich or chips for lunch taste like Smelly Jelly.

Thanks for the great advice! We are anxious to try the product ourselves. We will definietly be trying the Smelly Jelly as well. My daughter found a baiter at Big 5 here in Wenatchee. I have attached a picture I found on the net at http://www.gofishin.com/index.cgi?&show ... 47&cat=300. I also made a couple more of my own using syringes that I cut the end off. You could also use syringes they give out at the pharmacy to give medicine to kids, too. It gives gives you a nice chunk of bait and covers the hook well.

I've had good luck with Gulp eggs. They aren't as firm as power eggs, but they're made out of real food and are 100% biodegradable. (Power eggs are scented plastic.)

tried the Fish Tickle and really didn't notice any difference just another thing to attach to your line. One good thing about it, your tackle box smells really good after a while.

Power eggs are awesome, and so is smelly jelly. Power eggs are just starting to get popular even though they have been out for ever. You dont have to worry about getting stuff all over your hands and you dont have to worry about them flying off when you cast, plus you can catch a couple fish on the same power egg. When you add smelly jelly it kills the trout

Back to your question. I have never used the fish tickle, but I do have a couple packs of them. They were selling them for dirt cheap, 50% off I believe at Farm & Home (or Home & Ranch) in Cle Ellum. I bought them so I can grind them up and add the powder to regular marsh mallows for added scent and color. I would definitely give them a shot, but I wouldnt fish them for an entire day if they wernt producing. Let us know how they do.
