Electronics storage case / bag
Electronics storage case / bag
Looking for a padded carry case/bag to store my Lowrance HDS 10” & HDS 5”. The Pelican cases look great and would definitely fit the bill, but pretty expensive. Any other thoughts or recommendations?

Not sure what you looking for, but I have dust covers for both my Lowrance units and then I had a dust cover sewn for them that has a set of double straps on them. seems to work well for what I do!!

REI has a lot of options. I'm sure some other choices besides Pelican. You may be able to get creative with using some Tupperware and cut out foam. If you are talking about just needing general rain and travel bumping protection, that may work. If you are concerned about your unit being submerged, you may just need to bite the bullet on a Pelican or similar variety brand.

Home Depot or Harbor Freight carry aluminum briefcases with foam inside that you can cut out to fit most anything. I use them for my RC gear, guns, boat electronics, etc. I havent bought one in a while but they used to be about $20. Not water proof by any means, but very sturdy for shock protection.

Not sure how big all that is you want to haul, but wally world sells some dry boxes in the camp dept, that and some pool noodle, and you would be padded, dry
