I always use 2 squid jigs while squidding. Last night I saw a couple guys using 3 squid jigs. Is this allowed?

I think it's either two or three. Can't remember which though. Do any good out there?

No we got skunked last night. They are supposed be be doing really well down at redondoe, but we were too lazy to go more than a mile so we just went to Des Miones. There were a few caught last night though.

Hmmm. By Thanksgiving they should be in good. Looking forward to a few nights out on the pier and some squid for a late night snack when I get back home....

Yea they aren't as much fun cleaning them as they are catching them. We should go hit up some of the Elliot Bay piers when I'm back...

Sounds like a plan to me. How many diffrent piers do you ussually go to? I have only been to Des Moines so any new area would be great to explore.

Anywhere in Elliot Bay. Pier 86 has always been good to me, and thats where I usually find myself. But I guess the Seacrest pier can put out squid good too???

I have heard good things about both those piers. Squidfish.com has a lot of good squid info. Its a forum from all over the world and it talks about pier 86 and Seacrest. It also say a lot about redondoe. Its a good site to check out even though some stuff is not in English.

Hey! This is a little off topic, but I've never been squiding before and was wondering how many jigs to buy intially. How often do you lose them?

I've somehow managed to stock up to over 20. Buy 3 or 4 total, in a few colors (reds and greens work best for me) and then if you still find yourself going back squidding over and over again, replenish yourself with a bigger stock.
