RE:EDMONDS SQUID?
Under normal seasons this would be the time to start seeing squid off the pier. Heck of days long past - somewhere during the 90's you would see both the inside and outside half of the pier loaded with people squiding. Generators everywhere and it made the combat fishing days of August look like nothing.
You could also go out pre dawn and simply toss the squid jig out and still catch them with no light.. or so I was told (I never tried as I work early to end of day)
This year so far nothing to really report as you may already know Fishboy. No squid seen chasing the herring in the morning as has happened in the past either. Few accidentals on the jigs as well. Yet you go to Pier 86 and bam ink ink and more ink for what I've been told.

Accidentals on the Jigs.
What I meant by that was in years past during late summer while fishing for Salmon with my megabait or whatnot I'd sometimes end up catching a squid. This year it didn't happen.
