Name of meat market near Hwy 18??

Post by The Quadfather » Fri Apr 18, 2014 6:01 pm

Does anybody know the name of a butcher/meat market that I would describe as sort of just off Hwy 18, in the area of whatever river that is that 18 crosses. I'm talking about if you got on 18 from I-5 in Federal Way.. go North.

One day I pulled off the road in that area for something and wound up at this INCREDIBLE meat market. Besides all kinds of great standard meats, they had the crazy stuff like Rattlesnake, Ostrich, Kangaroo, or whatever.

Sorry If I'm not good on describing the spot, but there aren't many places like this.

I live near there and they have great prices on the pork belly I use for making bacon. We've been going there for years.

There's a reason it's called the Slaughter House Drift.

Pulled out a lot of fish from that drift last year. Never stopped by the meat store though.
