2 man pontoon?

Post by Drumdog » Wed May 06, 2009 9:41 am

I'm looking for a 2 man pontoon craft to fish out of.
I want to be able to fold/wrap/compress/whatever it to store it in the RV.
I'd like to put both a small outboard and an elec. troller on it as well as a finder of some kind.
I also don't want to have to mortgage the house to buy it.

This one looks promising http://www.seaeagle.com/FoldCat.aspx
Has anyone had any experience with this one or one like it?
Any other suggestions?

Fish on !!
If I had to do it over again.....I would have caught a bigger one!

Bruce...

What I'm really looking for is someone who has or had a 2 man pontoon and if they have any reccomendations.

I had already read your article and found it quite interesting.

Thanks!

DD,..never fished off a 2 Man-Pontoon,..I did look at the Fish-Cat when I was considering purchasing one,..a bit pricy but it has all the nice amenities I liked,..casting deck was a plus,..I did pick up the Costco Outfitter XT and although I can't stand on it I raised the seat and added a swivel,..you're right though DD,..it does look promising!
