4th of July on the water Port Gardner and Everett Boat launch questions

Hi guys, my family wants to do the 4th of July thing on the boat this year. I usually use the Mukilteo boat launch, but I prefer to use the Everett (10th Street) boat launch. I have not done a 4th of July on the Sound yet (done Aquafest in Lake Stevens a few times) but my concern is that the Everett facility might be slammed, either with lots of trailers or a bunch of people using trailer parking, sans trailer, to setup for the show. So, I am concerned that there will be no parking at the 10th Street launch.
Also, is the launch open prior to the fireworks show? From what I can tell, the barge may be pretty close to the launch.
Do any of y'all have any experience with this scenario?
