Everybody should have more than one boat. I had three for years (including my old canoe). I have been fishing from an old Bass Tracker that I bought new in 1985. It has been all over this beautiful state and seen a lot of nice bass, perch, sockeye and others come over the gunnels since that time.

I seen this post and had to make a reply and it's realy embarrasing, Anyway here goes. I had bought a Stratos FS289 fish and ski bass boat in 1989 then ended up losing it in a bankrupcy. :pale: Then in 1993 was able to get into a Basstracker 1700 then lost that to my x-wife in 2000.."whaaaa" Now I have a 12' G3 jon boat with a 5 horse on it, also a coleman RamX Basshunter 9', plus nummerous rubber rafts and a fishing tube. Don't get me wrong I have prob. caught more fish out of the smaller boats but I miss having the room to store things and also move around.

I have a 16' Scanoe. No, that is not a typo, it is a Scanoe, it is like a canoe, but it has a flat stern so that I can put a 5hp motor on it. I was looking at a Fishing Skeeter pontoon boat, but I wanted to be able to take my son out with me. In fact I took him out this week end and what a good time we had. I tried to include a picture, I can not seem to make the image feature work. I lived in Northern California for about 10 years, moved back home to Washington about 10 years ago, when I was there I had a 12' double-hulled home-made fiberglass jon boat...sure wish I had that still!

***Hey I figured out how to add an image...OK, that is not my canoe. That is a rendering of the boat I am working on. I draw for Christensen Shipyards. I would be happy to have one of the tenders from this boat!!

I have a 14' Tracker jon boat with a 2hp Suzuki and a 40#MinnKota. Next spring I plan to buy a trailer and increase my motor to a 2-stroke Mercury with 8hp or 9.9hp. It's a stable platform for fishing as I regularly stand on the bench seats and steer the trolling motor with my foot on the tiller. I holds more gear than I will ever use, but always bring along. The middle seat has a hatch that opens up to a non-aerated livewell which is handy for panfish or other take home fish, but usually I plug it and use it for a cooler.

I have an old 12' vee-hull that I leave at my brother-in-laws shed in Southern Oregon for use when I go to Selmac Lake or other lakes down around Grants Pass. It needs a bunch of work that I haven't gotten around to because it's four hours away. Out of sight. Out of mind.

I have a Basshound 10.2 and absolutly love it. You can't really ask more out of a little boat for small lake fishing. Check it out, http://www.directboats.com/basstender102.html Like I said, I couldn't ask for anything more out of a small lake boat. My next boat will be a 16-17' Grizzley Tracker, mostly for duck hunting though. I will most deffinately hang onto the Basshound after I get the Grizzley thuogh. I also own a river rated Water Skeeter pontoon boat which I have floated the upper Sauk River from the Whitechuck down to Darrington fishing for Dollies. Both my brother and I almost got seriously injured on this trip, not even joking. Please, only extremely experienced oarsman/whitewater rafters atempt this stretch. We are very experienced, and it was still extremely difficult.

i have a smokercraft promag 140. it has a small casting deck, bow mount trolling motor, rod locker, storage under the bow casting deck, & 25hp mercury. i replaced the old seat base on the deck so i could put on a stand/lean seat.

overall i like the boat, but it does get pushed around pretty easy when it's windy. i'd like something better (aka. bigger) for tournament fishing but that's not really an option at this point.

Skeeterbassin, I'm envious! It will be about three years before I make that jump so I can go back to fishing tournaments. Right now most of my time and resources are going into building my business. Thanks for the pic it helps keep my eye on the prize!

My boat is a much repaired 12' gamefisher I bought from my neighbor for $25.00. Then my son wouldn't come fishin' (to load and unload) any more so I had to find a trailer.
Craig's list 12' gamefisher and trailer I got for $175.00. I'm gonna use the $25.00 boat until it is worn completely and fix up the less repaired boat that came with the trailer.
So I have 2 boats.
I am going to try to attach pictures.

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

How fast does that go with the 25hp? I'm looking at getting either a 15hp or 25hp to replace my old merc 9.8.

I have an old Gregor H-34, I'll try and find a photo of it, I think I have one from when we took it to Banks several years ago.

beresford13861 - is the storage next to the cockpit factory or was that fabricated? I'm looking at an 88 that a box was built for in the same area.
