Is this boat worth it?

Lots of good input here. I would recommend buying a new 12’ aluminum. I paid 1200. For my brand new Smokercraft Alaskan and it a very sweet boat. I paid 600. For a new King trailer for my Alaskan. So for under 2K you can have a brand new boat and trailer that will last you a lifetime. I would recommend staying away from a 17 year old boat and buy new. That way you won’t be disappointed and you know what you are getting. Also, I believe the boat trailers that a guy builds himself from a box and have paint of them are subject to rust.
