Trolling motor prop not turning

Post by Joe Heater » Wed Apr 16, 2008 1:24 pm

I just paid $47 to find out some information but thought I would tell everyone exactly what I was told to maybe save you all some cash. Hell some of you probably already knew this but I didnt so here it is.

If your trolling motor will turn right and left but the propellar won't spin when you try to go I was told the problem is always the same.

Take your prop off and something is in there. The guy said it is usually water or fishing line or even small weeds, but something always gets in there and you just have to remove the prop and clean it out of there.

Hope that helps.

Joe
I have never met a fish yet that respected a big purchase. You can own a $100 boat or you can own a $30,000 boat. You might be more comfortable, but don't expect any fish to care about your investment.
