For those of you that don't know there are changes proposed for next year that I don't agree with and I am sure that a lot of you won't either. These changes effect shorting seasons, retention of certian fish, gear/sent rules, shellfish and much more. Please click the link and read through these changes. Write a letter, send a n email and /or go to the meeting coming up in DEC.

These rules effect fishing for everyone is some shape or form. This is your chance to be heard and try to change these rules. don't just write them and tell them they are wrong for some of these changes, give them reasons why or a better change that would help with the problem they are trying to fix.

Thanks for posting this. I agree, I think it's time that we all band together to let our voices and opinions be heard. How do we rally together so our officials can see that we care, and what questions do we come up with?

We can all start by writing/email them there is a address to mail in letters also a email address were you can email them. It is more than jsut question to come up with, it is more of coming up with solutions for these proposals.

Lets say you fish during a time time of the year they are trying to shorten and that is the best time that produces fish. Not a great argument but if enough of the people have the same one then it is good one.

After the emails and letters we all need to make it to the meeting.

If you have comments on any of the proposed regulations, be sure to comment or attend the meetings. The WDFW extended their "open for discussion" deadline until 01 Dec...then they'll close down shop. Below is a linky with all the information.
