On June, 5 2007 Adam (w/ his brother of FishingGeeks) caught the World Record Rainbow Trout. Officially weighed at Prarie Meats in Saskatchewan Canada at an astounding 43.6lbs. This is a New All tackle World Record. The other stats on the fish are 38.75 inches long, 34 inch Girth. Caught on 6lb test.
Adam also held the 10lb test line World Record Rainbow Trout at 33.3lbs. Amazing trout fisherman. He just changed his whole life. Congratulations to Adam.
You'd have to see it to believe it. So here it is.

That blows the old record away. The old record stood for over half a century. In 1936, the world record Kamloops Rainbow was caught on Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho and weighed in at 37#s.

I wonder how long it took to reel it in with 6 lb test. He must have been chasing it for over 3 hours. I've never seen a rainbow so fat. I'd love to reel in a rainbow like that. What a thrill.

Wow! The lake probably dropped a foot when he pulled that mammoth mutant of a monster trout out! I've heard of "football trout", but that guy is more like a linebacker trout!

Hey mushyhunter, that trout was spawning. That's why it is so huge. The twins wait tell this time of year to try and break the record because they know that the trout will be stuffed. Do you think they are in the wrong for this or does your argument just apply to bass on their beds?
Don't worry I'm not attacking you I'm just being facetious. :clown:
