Greenlake Alum Treatment

Post by gort » Wed Mar 30, 2016 11:20 am

Just saw a story indicating that alum treatment is going to be done on Greenlake beginning April 4:

Couldn't find any information indicating whether there would be any fishing or boating restrictions while the treatment is being applied.

Not sure I'd eat any fish from there anyways but I'd probably not keep any fish just after the treatment. Boating? As in float tube/toon or shell from the rowing club, Alum isn't what I would consider a toxic anything. It was used for blood clotting after shaving cuts for many, many years.
