Northwest Fishing Reports

I hooked my buddie on the large trout they planted in black lake (thurston county). I want to keep him fishing because it's better than the other things he does. Anyone know of easy fish/trout to catch near black lake, I wanna get my friend hooked so he will do more productive things,

I would say you did exactly what you should do! Take your buddy fishing! I accomplished the same this year, as I managed to get my best friend out and hook and landed his first chinook and coho salmon. Needless to say, he is hooked lol! Keep taking him is all I can say. I would imagine the earlier part of the season would be a little easier with the warmer weather but if you can turn him onto it in this weather then all the better. Wish i was more of a lake fisherman to help you out with that. If you have a fair size boat Summit lake isnt too far and should have some good size fish in it. Good luck!!
