If there is anyone who knows what I am talking about here, I would appreciate any information on types of fish present. I bushwhacked into it this weekend. It looks very fishy, but shore access is tough and I was skunked. Thanks.

Nomad, I sent you a message, but I can't go through the usual PM process. The website is going through some birthing pains and is a little messed up on PM's. I sent it through an icon that said EMAIL.

Hey Bill... I may have found some access: (edit: the link was funky.. go to the world geocaching website,, search caches by google maps... wind your way on G maps up to the lake, mag. gown until caches are shown. There is one right at the lake. go in and read the reports from the geocachers who made it to the lake.

Chris, send me an IM with some better links. I can't find a good link. You know us old guys are computer challenged.

I don't think the Lynnwood lake requires any bushwhacking. (unless the parking lot is full)

I only know of 1 Martha Lake, and it isn't in Lynnwood, but Mapquest only showed me the one in Lynnwood. The one I know of is more east, over by Granite Falls somewhere, or something. Hwy 9?? or something.

Ok, north of Lake Stevens and north of Cassidy Lake, east side of Hwy 9. on Mapquest. That's the only one I know of, and there use to be a public type launch, but the owner of the campgrounds closed it, some years ago. Now supposidly you can go thru the campgounds, but there is a fee. But it's been years since I heard this.

Is it North, South, East, or West of Lynnwood? A no answer will not do here

There are 3 Martha Lakes in Snohomish county. All three are named on maps. Two have public launch areas, one does not. The third is not an alpine lake.
