I'm living in Whitman county at the moment and I was hoping people could recommend some good places to fish. The type of fish in the waters would be great too. I've tried google searches and I can't seem to find any good places nearby except the snake river which is great but a change of scenary would be welcome. If I'm in the wrong forum please let me know I am new here.

If you click on Whitman county on the map on the front page it will give you a list of places to fish in Whitman county. Though, I think the Snake and Palouse are you only real options.

Rock Lake near St. John/Endicott other than that the Snake is about it. There are some fish in the Palouse River, I have never fished it, and there is always the wastewater plant in Colfax but I don't think there are any "catchable plants" there:geek:

Thanks everyone. Looks like I'll stick with the snake river since it has always been productive.
