Pretty much everything you would throw from the boat :compress:
The real things to consider throwing from the bank are how the bottom structure is going to be different, as in sloping up to you instead of sloping down, and limited accessibility/shoreline to cover.
You will have to adjust to avoid snags, such as t-rigging that grub instead of using exposed hooks/jigheads, or cranking that lipless up faster as you approach the shoreline to avoid snagging.
Might want to hit a piece of structure or cover a lot more thoroughly since you may be limited in options so you want to get the whole mileage out of it. Top to bottom - roll by it with a topwater. Bump a spinnerbait against it. Let a senko sink to the bottom of it. Dropshot something next to it. Cover every piling on that dock, etc...
But I don't think there is explicitly a different "best way" to catch a fish from shore as opposed to fishing from a boat.
Man, its friday - i need to get outta here!
My favorite shore bait is probably the spinnerbait. You can cover a lot of water, and a lot of the water column fast and effectively. Relatively snagless. Can be fished a million ways (fast slow, bottom bumping, yoyo, wake, etc) - add a trailer to change the shape of the bait.
