Gages Slough

Anyone ever think about trying Gages Slough, and if so, any advise? Seems like it would be a good bass hole.

I could throw a rock in it from my front yard but I have never fished it. The local law enforcement has chased my kids out of it a couple times though. I can understand my kids side of it...what kid can resist a local pond?

It is a flood control diversion channel that winds it's way through Burlington here in Skagit County.
