The spot I like to go to, is either Mount Baker Park which is very crowded and loud now cuz of all the swimmers, or the dock between MB Park and Genesee Park. It's a lonely dock by itself between the 2 places.

My setup is like this for perch, using worms.

I just walk about 10 ft past all the weeds, and cast parallel to the weeds.

There was this very nice dock on Mercer Island, that I use to go when I was a little kid over a decade ago, but I tried to relocate it recently. But seems so different, cant remember where it is now.

All I rmeember is, you had to walk down a big ass hill. There's actually 2 docks. The closet one, is HUGE. But it was an open plank cement with no rails if i rmemeber correctly. Then if you walk south along the shore for a bit, there's a wooden dock. I remember I did much better on the concrete dock.

If anybody knows where this is, and directions to get there, please post.

have had alot of luck with drop shot and small plastics 3-4 inch Senkos.
my boys have had more luck with live bait (worms) when you get in a big school drop anchor, you won't have to leave the spot for an hour. We hooked up on 25+ that way last summer. Some can get big 1 pound or so.
