Any body hear what the weights were? I was floating and saw a few tourney guys. With the weather the way it was I would guess it was a challenge to put much weight in the boat. The boats I saw were not spending much time with nets working. Was in and out of rain from Friday evening until yesterday around noon when I headed home.
PS: This is the entire context of my report!!
I still rate it a "5"
I was fishing.

Re: June 28-29: WASHINGTON GOVERNORS CUP WALLEYE TOURNAMENT,
Personally, I like fishing in the rain. Looking at a 6 fish limit on day one at 18+ pounds, someone else did also.

Re: June 28-29: WASHINGTON GOVERNORS CUP WALLEYE TOURNAMENT,
The rain didn't bother me as much as the volume. Friday night it sounded like someone throwing 5/8's minus on the roof for close to and hour. Driving up Friday between Colville and Kettle it was 40 mph and you could hardly see the road. Had standing water in the drive and it was a shade soft.
Also had a few bright light flashes in the sky which also put the kokanees off on Sunday.
I saw the photo of a day one fish my guess is it was close to most of the weight for the day.
