Not 100% sure, but as far as I knew Bull Trout were landlocked (i.e. blocked by dam/going to salt water) and Dollies were not and could go to the ocean and reaturn.

OK, back on topic.
For some large Bulls, lake Koocanusa in Montana, upstream of Libby MT, you can actually keep two per year. The usually catch them with large lures fishing under the kookanee for RBT. These boys usually run from 3 to 10 pounds, and some much bigger.
In lake Pend Orelle in Northern Idaho it is pretty common to catch them 3 to 15 pounds, again while fishing for super large RBT or the Lake Trout there.
I know, I know, a ways for you to travel, but some big ones to temp the old C&R fishermen.

Sorry for bringing ths one up from the dead.
When I lived in Boise, Idaho I made a trip up to Little Red Fish Lake in the Sawtooth's. I nailed about an "18 one on a rooster tail there. Apparently Red Fish and Little Red fish are full of them but the last time I was there, they were catch and release only. I think at the time they were endangered in that area.
