8-[ At work here, having a hard time concentrating on work. Keep thinking of fishing tomorrow and planning the outing. It will be the first time for me using my own fish finder and two mini downriggers. Hope they work. Must... focus!

LOL, a fun visual. Rambo even slurs his words. It's all good until you pass out or need an emergency bathroom break.

It should be really fun. Anyone heading to Pine Lake for the opener? I saw the picture in the Seattle Times this week showing boats out on the lake back in 1999. That was nostalgic. It should be fun for everyone, regardless of where you fish. Good weather is certainly instore!

Don't forget about the visions of triploids and stockers dancing in our heads.

Oh, yes, the visions... of fish tail dancing on the top of the water, trying to bend my pole in half!
Thank you. May the fish gods be generous to us tomorrow despite any of our recent deeds. And glory be the weather.

Yeah, that was a hefty load of fish planted on Wednesday. Should not be hard to boat a couple of those 20000 planted.

I will be on Wapato tomorrow evening, near Chelan. But I am not leaving until about noon. So maybe I will try to do some shore-bound angling around here first. Hmmm, could maybe fit it in if I got my act together. :+|

Wapato, good choice. Dont forget about the other productive, low key, year round lakes in that area. It might even be warm enough for the channel cats at Roses and dont rule out them nice tiger trout they just planted in Dry lake. But you should have your hands full with Wapato.

I was supposed to be leaving for the Cowlitz tommarow, but word just came in that we will probally be leaving at about 7pm. No night closure on that river.....

Cool. I have seen Dry and Roses right near by and been wanting to try them. Thanks for the tips! I hope you hook some biggins in the Cowlitz, never been there.

First time for me to at the Cow, I will post a report and let you guys know how I do. They have been taking limits at Roses since ice out as well, some nice hold overs too. Go to fishinmagician.com there is a report they post every 2 or 3 days. Just about every report has something to say about Roses or Wapato or Dry lakes. Good luck out there urbanangler.

As I head to work tomorrow morning I will be thinking of all my fishin brothers and sisters enjoying the opener. Yes the crowds suck sometimes but there is just something about getting out there on opening day and catching some fish after what often seems like a long off season wait. I wish you all a safe and fun day. Enjoy the sunny mid 70 degree weather, and catch lots of fish. Can’t wait to catch some fish and read all the reports. Good luck all and good fishin.

Just a few more hours until the magic starts. :bounce:
The car and boat are all packed up ready to go.
I hope I can sleep well, and not keep plotting the assault.
