I love wedding rings with my special touch! Another thing that works that I haven't seen any talk about is a small spin-n-glow
and a worm:-$ (very productive and you have a wide variety)

The number 1 lure for picking up some stockers is a wedding ring tipped with a worm. Flatfish and hotshots will kill them. Dick nites, needle fish and tripple teazers are good spoons for stockers. Rooster tails and blue foxes will also nail the stockers. Kastmasters are awesome as well, but I dont like to troll them. Get some pautske krill grease, they go nuts over that. I have found trolling a power egg and a piece of worm also works at certain lakes.

Trolling lures....
Plugs:
Flatfish
Hotshots
Spinners:
Wedding rings
Panther martins
Mepps
Blue Fox
Rooster Tail
Spoons:
Needlefish
Dick Nites
Triple Teazers
Canadian Wonders
Kokanee Killers
Little Cleos
Zingers
Tip spinners and plugs with worms when you can. I find that tipping a spoon with a worm ruins the action. So buy some quality scent (paste form, not liquid. Liquid washes off too fast)
Good luck in your pursuit of trout

Black & red mepps, or WR behind a three foot leader hooked to a small flasher maybe. If they are larger fish, the good old Red Devil works great for me, it seems to a time prover. If I am fishing for broods, I like to try trolling a fly with corn ( if they are freshly planted brood stock ) it works well in Waits lake.

"bingo bugs" are my favorite, but (as noted in a previous post) I can't find them anymore.

It would either be flies if I was fly fishing or a Hildebrant Flicker if I'm using a spinning rod.

Nothing beats a wedding ring tipped with a maggot in my opinion.

I love slow trolling a berkley trout worm. If I get a hit and miss it I can free spool and they will often come and pick it back up. Just remember they count as using bait.

My favorite lures to troll are Rapala f7 or f9 original floaters. I always have luck with silver or hot steel.
