Anybody here fish any of these lakes in Snohomish County? I'm trying to decide where to go tomorrow, and these two small lakes looked promising. Just wanted some feedback from the people who've fished it. Any size to the trout? I heard they both have Cutts along with the planted Rainbows.
Thanks

Re: Lost (Devils) Lake? Chain Lake?
at lost devils lake, I have never had any luck with the rainbows or cutts, I usually don't have a problem catching them as well. there are lots of smaller bass around that lake tho, and a lunker 6lbs + that my buddy caught in the lily pads across from the boat launch.
I don't know anything about chain lake.
Flowing lake has a great boat launch and I have always done good fishing here. just fishing along the boat launch/fishing pier/ side of the lake and troll 20-40ft from the shore line, the fish are there.
further up 9 is Anderson lake, I have noticed slightly bigger trout here. just a heads up unless they fixed the boat launch its a ROUGH ONE.

Re: Lost (Devils) Lake? Chain Lake?
In a word yes. Devils lake, when it gets planted is pretty good for trout and it's always good for bass. Never used anything but flys there. Chain is a good warm water lake. It's on a list to set for selective gear only and C&R, git 'em while you can.
