I have never fished this dock but have heard it is very productive. Its on American lake and it is called bills boat house. You have to pay to fish the dock. But I kind of like the docks you have to pay to fish off of, I usually do pretty well along with all the other anglers. They dont charge you for nothing. But with it being this time of year I think you have 2 options. Your first option would be to switch over to another species of fish. Your second option would be to go to another pert of the state for trout. Mineral lake in Lewis, good for trout $5 to fish from their dock. Offut lake in Thurston, good for trout $5 to fish from their dock. Mardon resort on potholes reservoir in grant county $5 to fish off their dock good for everything all day and all night. Deer lake in Stevens county. Have only fished a private dock here, so Im not sure about the public dock, but about this time last year we knocked the trout dead. There are tons more but these are spots spread all over good luck

just went to bills boathouse on friday (20th) and got skunked for trout. just caught an 8" perch. its like $4.50 to fish it. they had a couple 5-6lbs trout in their small holding pen that you can walk around. its not that deep so you can see them just swimming around. they do catch large trout there rather often, just that morning a worker there said a 5lb'er was pulled in.
