Blue Lake (Mt. Baker Area)

Anybody here fish this? How is the fishing? Do you think it would be frozen right now? Thinking about going today.

If it's the Blue Lake that's almost half way over the North Cascades, I'd say you're rolling the dice for ice free. Steep hike and the lake is in a little pocket at the bottom of a large slide area. My recommendation as always, bring three types of mosquito repellant and stay in the sun. The only thing I've pulled out of there are some very small Brookies and Cutts on the fly. I haven't been since I broke my back so it could all be different now.

It's the blue lake that is near elbow lake.
