Skykomish or Snohomish or Snoqualmie. Best bet is probably the Sky though....

The green runs through Seattle. Not the best steelhead river but close to Seattle.

Hit Reiter Ponds in the middle of winter. It is a mad house, but a good chance at hooking a steelie.

Reiter Ponds? I have heard of Reiter Ponds, but where are they? I am always looking for more winter fishing opportunities for this side of the mountains, so any info would be highly appreciated.

Reiter is way up on the Sky system. Theres a hatchery up there and while it is crowded, it does provide a good opportunity to get into some steelhead...

Reiter is just east of Gold Bar. You can access the river on both the hatchery side of the river and the Highway 2 side. Both sides are good bets when the fish are in. Prepare yourself for combat fishing though. You should be used to that from Humpy fishing though. LOL.
