Went to this spot last weekend the first time. Donkey show describes it pretty well... Haha. Was catching a whole bunch of cutts, most of them undersized. Also saw some salmon role, believe it were Kings. Is it going to be packed over there when the pinks are in? Bob Hermann park is going to be a mad house... Was already too much when the silver's were in last year.
Re: thomas eddie (snohomish river)
Everywhere is gonna be packed when the pinks get thick

I think being on a boat is the best bet! We have a little 14' that we use on the snoho!

The donkey hole off school bus is well known because the donkeys and they heeeehaaaaw like crazy!! Lots of access lower down by pilchuck and off Lowell... . Get'em while they ripe!
From shore I like Thomas eddy too.. But I usually go further in and hike across the 1st channel and fish the donkey home but from Thomas eddy side.. Super snaggy good time.

There is lots of access to the tidewater along Lowell Snohomish Rd. I like the top of the eddy, where the current picks up slightly. Great spots below and above 522 access as well.drysuperfly52 wrote:so this is the closest decent access spot i know of for pinks i go here when the pinks are in and if i am Lucky i manage 1 fish pink year (i know i suck) so at thomas eddie should i stay on the rocks were the trial sees teh water, or should i keep going down river to where there is more current and people on the other side of the road?

Re: thomas eddie (snohomish river)
So the last year humpies ran we just went out whenever but this year i wanna have more success so is it best to fish low or high tide?
Re: thomas eddie (snohomish river)
It's best to fish incoming tide. THe schools ride the tide up into the river.
Re: thomas eddie (snohomish river)
High slack tide is dy no mite!!!
