Kings pretty much pick a depth or temp and run with it. Socks will move up and down with the light and their food, Krill. bobber and shrimp may work for Socks if you hit them just right. Neither of them will go out of their way for food, you need to put it right in their faces. That pretty much makes it a boat show when the water is that big. On the Skagit where they are narrowed somewhat you can definately bank fish for both. If you're going to be hanging out at the river anyway, give it try, what do you have to loose, a little bait?
