Lets make this the opening day pic thread. Any river, just put the river the fish was caught at.

Haha...thats fine. I don't care. I assumed we would have more threads. I was just curious about reports from this system specific. Retitle this one then. I'm good with that. Absolutely

Same here we went 0 for 2 we lost 1 nice steelhead next to the boat sidedrifting, and had a massive takedown on a plug, We saw natetreat out there, His Pavati look very nice.
There are some achievements which are never done in the presence of those who hear of them. Catching salmon is one, and working all night is another.

Went two for four in the first hour at Reiter. Got a late winter run on my second cast with a spoon, lost two more in rapid succession on the same spoon, and finally banked a chrome bright summer fish on a pink pearl corky and pink yarn. It was smokin hot for the first couple of hours, in spite of the three young turks who saw fit to break the rules and pound the crap out of it for an indeterminate amount of time before it opened. They had walked in from below, and obviously knew that they weren't supposed to be there because they packed up in a hurry when everyone got down there. Either that or they might have been scared off by everyone yelling at them and calling enforcement, who didn't show apparently. Unsportsmanlike conduct aside, it was a great morning, and I was especially pleased that my dad and future brother in law both got their first steelhead ever.
