Sweet Beaver 4.20

Reaction Innovations is one of my favorite soft plastic companies. I have 2 bags of the Sweet Beaver series and was wondering if anyone has had luck on them in Washington and where and in which situations. I love to throw plastics, but I am hesitant to throw these up here. I got them for Cali and they worked great down there. Help me figure out if and when I should bust these babies out.

NOW!!!!!!!!!! They work well here too. Fished a tournament about 3 weeks ago with them. Took my brother out with me to fish, his 2nd time bass fishing in 15 years and he won the trny and I finished in 6th. They are a very versatile bait. Can be fished Carolina, Texas (with or without weight), flipped, or on a football head for smallies. Bust em out and start whacking em. I am partial to the 3.50 (smallie beaver) but it seems most prefer the 4.20.

I agree with Skeeter Bassin,
I picked up some of the Beavers last winter and I have been using them this spring.
We have been catching some very nice Smallmouth on them.

never used the sweet beavers but the smallie beavers have worked for me for SM up here. I dont see why the larger size wouldnt.

edit: oh situation. I used them when I would throw a craw-imitation over rocks n riprap. Same type of place I would throw say.. a hula grub or a paca craw.

I use the beavers all year long. Caught a largemouth on 1.1.07 in less than 40 degree water on one and use them in the summer on both largemouth and smallmouth. AWESOME soft plastic IMO.

So what I'm hearing (reading) is throw'em. Anytime is the right time.
Ok, what colors are you guys having the most success with?
And at which time in the day?

For me the major factor on color has been water color. In dirty/stained water I have been using either hematoma or penetration. In clearer waters (sammmish/washington) I have had sucess with the watermelons, california 420, grn pumpkin, and grn goby. Time of day has not mattered for me.

i did not have a success with sweet beavers so i switched to smallie beavers and caught many bass. in fact it helped me to win the club tournament on potomac river a couple of years ago. i also like to skip the ballbreakers under the docks because not many people throw it. it gives out a cool action when it sinks as well.

I did a google search I have never seen those before or ever used. Do you think they'd work on the east side of Washington? They look really cool but where would I purchase those I have never seen those in the stores here.

The fact that this company has the audacity to name one "Dirty Sanchez" is enough for me. Where'd I put that credit card? LOL

Thanks ChrisB those are some pretty sweet looking plastics. What is the best time/area/rig to use these in?

Any time, any place, rig them weightless, as a jig and beaver (pig), texas, carolina, or dropshot them. They are a very versatile bait. I not only like just about every bait that Reaction Innovations makes but there names are very creative and like AaronE said you want to buy them just because of that.

I started using these baits this spring and they are one of the best baits that I have tried in some time.
I have been rigging them on a Spot Stalker jig head which is a new style of stand up head.
The two together have been working real well for the Smallmouth.
Once a fish picks it up I am amaized at how long they will hold onto it.
