I want to fish some lakes I've never been to before so in looking at some maps i ran across hog lake and it looks interesting. So is there Bass there and can you launch a boat? If their are no Bass in it somebody know of a good lake out that way with access and some good Bass.

Ah no wonder. So thats out , any good small lakes in that area with bass and a way to launch a small boat" I just want to fish some lakes I've never been to before. I have fished Silver, Clear and Badger in that area already, I'd like to try one of the smaller harder to access lakes, but I don't know what has bass in it and what doesn't.

I hear Williams is due for rehab this fall... should be bass in there now.hit the shallows in the west end of the lake and the bay on the south? shore abandoned dock/cabin lookin thing.. Badger was due a couple years ago(if I recall correctly) the lake shore residents fought it, got rehab canceled. Most of those lakes are trout managed. Downs is spiny and tiny... always a good stop for perch, others love the bass there but, results come n go. OHHHHH... hit the regs, check coffee pot, selective, no bait or scent... good bass in there. wind can be a bit of a mother here though.

That's another resource.... I call em once in a while when I want to hit something special, always been helpful.
And check out the lake just to the west of Coffee Pot, can't recall the name... at times bass is good... gets plundered,,, few years to rebuild... plundered... rebuilds.. ect.

Check out Bonny lake, hard to access and a good Bass population. Small boat required.
Low water in Coffeepot could be tough to launch same I expect with Twin, watch for Snakes at both lakes.
Good luck and have fun.
