Northwest Fishing Reports

Anyone have suggestions on areas to focus on up at Lake Whatcom? I'm heading up there tomorrow and it would be nice to have some sort of a starting point as that lake's pretty big. Thanks in advance for the advice.:d/

I wish I could tell you, I've been thinking of hitting up whatcom for weeks, but am intimidated because I have such a small boat.

there's a couple Whatcom bass articles in the story section (use the search feature). Generally, north end of the lake is developed, pier type fishing, south end (WDFW ramp) is more undeveloped shoreline.

Matt, you could fish that lake out of a float tube if you wanted. I used to fish out of a 9 foot plastic boat and I took it everwhere, even Potholes. Go out there and catch some fish Just make sure you have a strong trolling motor and battery, and don't venture off too far if it gets windy.
