there are a few spots you can fish off the dock at coulee playland. C and R that lake needs help for bigger fish!

thanks danielt. i will look for coulee playland. prob try out some parts along the shore that are visible from the road. i noticed last year that the road i take goes right by steamboat island so i thought id pull over there and fish.
dont worry about C&R for me. i have to catch something before i practice that.

yea that whole side of the road has a big drop to about 30ft only 10 yards from shore so you can fish shallow or deep. Good luck!

in case anyone was interested, i ended up fishing only in osborne bay which is right before you get to electric city. fished off the rocks along the road and caught 3 SMB none larger than 10" and my first 2 ever walleye (1 about 9 " and the other about 13"). 4 caught on a silver shad crank and the other on a bass pattern rat-l-trap.
