I haven't been smallmouth fishing for a couple months, but I was finally able to make it out today for a few hours to field test a new prototype swimbait.

I wanted to add a pic to JW's thread.

Sparky,

I'm using the Strike King Flats jighead in 1/2 oz. and the Revenge Swimbait Head in 3/4 oz. and 1 oz. Also, don't let the water sports discourage you from fishing an area (unless it becomes unsafe). My experience is that heavy boat traffic only makes the swimbait bite better.
