Re: Pierce County Bank Fishing

With an 8 year old, Lake Bradley in Puyallup might be an option. The WDFW sites says Bradley "open year round only for juvenile anglers, senior anglers, and anglers with a disability" with "good shoreline access" and is stocked with trout. https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/locations/lowland-lakes/lake-bra...

Re: Lakemaster cards

Humminbird's store has Western States 2.0 card as the current lake list version for sale. Lakemaster v2.0 card looks like it was released 2015 as the lake list has "new for 2015" lakes. Yea, no Potholes. Moses and Banks are listed, but they are not high def. Don't know if Potholes will be added or n...

Re: Stump Lake Access

WDFW has a mobile fishing app. Map shows lakes along with applicable regulations (seasonal, year-round, 2-pole).
https://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/washington/mobile_app.html
Site says the app is "beta" before official launch this month, but I've been using it for weeks without any problems.

Lake Chelan State Park - newb camper questions

I’ll be attending the NWFR Lake Chelan BQ meet and have some first-timer newb questions regarding camping at the State Park. I arrive on Thursday and leave Sunday. I’ll be towing my boat and camping out of my truck bed tent. I know it’s first-come-first-served regarding claiming a campsite. I’ve vie...

Thanks all for the comments. As for the Shilo Inn, visitors have noted on Google reviews that the place is being remodeled.

Just me. If supplies such as plastic cups, utensils, plates, napkins, paper towels, and trash bags are needed, I’ll bring them.

Otherwise I can bring cases of water and varieties of chips (quantities based on the head count).

Re: Potholes / Moses Lake area hotels

Thanks Larry for the hotel info and dining locations. I should have worded my electricity access preference about being able to run a long power cord out of ones room without hotel management complaining. Maybe I should consider bringing large plastic floor mats to be able to cover a cord crossing a...

Re: Potholes / Moses Lake area hotels

Thanks for the reply. Yea, the state park has camping cabins (Mar Don too but only four, I think). Wanted to get additional recommendations on other places to stay in case both the park and Mar Don are booked. I would go to Potholes during midweek rather than on the weekend to have a better chance o...

Potholes / Moses Lake area hotels

I hope to head over to Potholes this year for some bass fishing. I'd like to get suggestions on "boater friendly" locations around the Moses Lake area to stay at (i.e. parking for a truck with boat and electricity to charge batteries overnight). I am aware of Mar Don resort and camping at the state ...

Re: Puallup Sportsmans Show. Who's Going and for What?

Was looking at the exhibitor and demo list and am a bit disappointed. Then I looked at the PNW Show in Portland in early February. Much more on both. Might skip ours and run down there... If you've never been to the Portland show I would highly recommend checking it out. Figure on a full day. They ...
