I was out on Silver Sunday morning, ice is about 4.5 inches. we were getting bites as soon as we hit bottom, but nothing of decent size for perch.

I was out on Silver lake Spokane county yesterday afternoon, ice was between 3-4 inches thick. haven't caught anything but dink perch out of there this year.

Fished Hog Canyon on Fri for a few hrs. ice was over 4in. thick, but the bite was non-existant. and the wind chill felt like 20 below. Was able to get out on Silver for Sunday sunset bite. North end near launch had about 4in of ice but the rest of the lake just barely froze over Fri night so i didnt...

The majority of the north end around the public launch on Silver lk (Spokane county) finally skimmed over with ice today with these temps i'm hoping to be out there this weekend.

Most of the smaller ponds around the Medical lake area have skimmed over with ice. So I checked Silver this morning on the way to work, and no ice yet. Hopefully it wont be much longer with temps like this.

Yea, mud cat is a catfish, I guess they are actually yellow bullhead catfish. I was using trout carcasses as bait. I checked the trap a few times during the night, the catfish were small enough that they could swim into the trap eat what they wanted and swim back out. I have yet to catch more than o...

I soaked mine in Waitts lake overnight a couple weekends ago and all i got was a bunch of mud cats.
