RE:Fish Buddy portable fish finder opinions
I got one for father's day as well. I think it is the 2200. Works pretty well as far as I could tell, but I only used it for a couple of hours. You may get some motor interference if it is to close to the motor-- might depend on size of motor too. Does yours have the "side" fish finding feature? All...

On an easy day yesterday-- perfect sunny afternoon, no wind at all....
I launched from the ramp near Rainier Beach HS and went across to Mercer Island and back. Didn't do any fishing, but it worked out fine.

RE:Trolling Help
Flatfish? Can you get them at Joes?
Should I use a leader as well or jus t go off the main line?
My trolling motor has speed increments of !0, 25, 50m75 & 100 -- I assume I want to stay somewhere around 10?

Trolling Help
Hello All,
I need advice on the proper way to troll for trout; never done it before today.
I hit North Lake and trolled end to end with a rooster tail. Sometimes used weight, sometimes not. Got one nibble and that was all.

:d/ Excellent. Just what I needed to hear. I'll probably get a second battery to make for a longer trips.
I'm not sure what 54# thrust translates to on the water-- no experience with these types of motors and not much info on the web, that I could find.

Electric Motors on Lake Washington??
Hello, I've got what is probably a silly question, but hey- I'm new to both fishing and boating... I just purcahsed a 14' Tracker riveted deep V with a 54# thrust electric motor.
