Last year same week Oct 23 the Green had 4500 silver and 2013 had 7500. They need a minimum of 2000 to meet escapement numbers for spawning at the hatchery.

The schedule is Sundays-Fridays. Starting 9-14 up to the 16th ave bridge. Starting 9-21 up to Boeing st bridge. Starting 9-28 up to Hwy 99 till 10-26.

Word has it the log has been cut and you are able to float over it on the left hand side now. The next high water should push it out of the hole completely.

Another easy/short drift would be Cady to Rotary Park. If it were me in your situation, I would hire a drift boat guide. A friend of mine did that. Hired the guide, the three of us went in my buddy's new-to-him drift boat. Started out with the guide on the sticks (oars) showing us what he was doing...

I floated it Friday and today. There are no new obstructions since last year. The log that goes over the river at the tree farm below O'gradys is impassable if the flow is above 2200cfs on the Auburn gage.

The steelhead stamp bill had to get out of committee by Feb. 22 to stay alive this session and it did not.
