i see alot of fish in the vedder caught on peach yarn even when you can use bait. the fish aren't flossed either. also big spin n glows and like matt said, spinners. plugs too, depending on size of river and if your in a boat, backtrolling plugs might be the best option.

RE:Silver and King Trolling

I was there last august and silver fishing was good, as well as smaller kings, 4-10 lbs. This past time I was running flasher and anchovy as well as a straigh...

RE:Float Fishing Steelhead
I prefer bait under a bobber. Also try out using a wrap around float as this makes it so you don't have to use stops. My rig consists of essentially a bottom drifting rig under a bobber. I just tie my line to the swivel and pencil lead, and run a 2 foot leader off that with some pink yarn and eggs o...

Ive fished silver quite a bit. not as good as it used to be. some good sized cutts in there, regular planter bows. I miss it when they used to plant loids. back to back years i caught 22 inch triploids on opening day, and the biggest fish ive seen caught there was about 26 inches. They aren't any tr...

RE:Float/Sink
I just started fly fishing in lakes and have been experimenting with sinking/floating line while trolling woolly buggers. Ive fished pass lake a few times and on the troll and the floating line almost always catches more fish, the floating line even took a brown on the troll.
